Texting Mother Gets Jail After Crash Killed Daughter

VILLAS – A mom was sentenced to jail time for texting while driving in the car crash that killed her 11-year-old daughter, NJ.com reports
Kristen Conner, of Villas, was driving a pickup truck on Route 47 in Goshen July 9, 2014, with her daughter Morgan Ferguson when she crashed into a utility pole. Ferguson was thrown from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
A Cape May County judge sentenced Conner March 30 to 200 days in jail and four years of probation, the report continued.
