WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Police Department Street Crimes Unit in cooperation with the Wildwood Crest Police Department Detective Division concluded a month-long narcotics investigation April 20 targeting a residence in the 200 East block Forget-Me-Not Road in Wildwood Crest.
During the course of this investigation, members of the Wildwood Police Street Crimes Unit and Detectives from the Wildwood Crest Police Department developed information regarding the active and ongoing distribution of heroin from the above location. Furthermore, investigators were able to identify a Hispanic male subject as being one of the subjects responsible for the illicit narcotics distribution.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., a court authorized search warrant was executed with the assistance of Cape May County SWAT at the residence identified as the source of the suspected heroin distribution. During the subsequent search of the premises, distribution quantities of marijuana, cocaine, and heroin were located and seized. In addition, an amount of narcotics paraphernalia and monies identified as proceeds of illicit narcotics sales were recovered.
A 17-year-old juvenile male was arrested in connection with this investigation. He was charged on juvenile complaints with possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substance) paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
