This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
WILDWOOD – Members of the Wildwood Police Department Street Crimes Unit concluded a four-week investigation concerning the sales of narcotics from a residence in the 200 block East Cresse Avenue in Wildwood.
At approximately 7:40 p.m. June 27, the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team executed a court authorized search warrant targeting the aforementioned residence, in connection to the illicit sales of narcotics from the residence.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, distribution quantities of cocaine was recovered during the search of the premise. The controlled dangerous substances (CDS) seized in connection to the investigation was prepackaged for street level sales. Additionally seized in connection to the search of the premise was a small amount of suspected marijuana, narcotics paraphernalia and $591 which was identified as proceeds of the illicit street level sales and distribution of narcotics.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals were arrested and charged with the appropriate criminal offenses; Devon Moss, 29, of Wildwood, Lissa Lee, 35, of Wildwood, and an unidentified 17-year-old female, also of Wildwood.
Accordingly, Moss was charged with possession of cocaine, third degree, distribution of cocaine, second degree, possession of marijuana, a disorderly persons offense, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense, and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree.
Lee was charged with possession of cocaine, third degree, distribution of cocaine, second degree, possession of marijuana, a disorderly persons offense, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense, and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree.
The juvenile defendant was charged with possession of marijuana, a disorderly persons offense, on a juvenile complaint.
Both adult defendants were served their copies of the complaints and released pending a future court date.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
