COLD SPRING – Lower Township Police Department received multiple calls regarding a male subject attempting to flag down motorists in the area of the bike path on Seashore Road Aug. 11.
The male subject was last seen walking into the wooded section between Seashore Road and State Highway Rt. 9. Special Officer Corey Scheid responded to the area and located the individual on Route 9.
After a brief investigation, Special Officer Scheid found, Sean M. Dunnigan, 21, who resides in the 3000 block of South 2nd St., Whitehall, PA, to be in possession of drug paraphernalia as well as several packets of heroin. In addition, Dunnigan was also found to be in possession of Xanax without a valid prescription.
Dunnigan was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of a prescription legend drug without a valid prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In default of $10,000 full cash bail set by Judge Thomas Hillegass, Dunnigan was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
