Suspect Sought by Middle Police in Rio Grande Robbery

Suspect wanted by Middle Township police in connection with an Aug. 25 robbery of a Rio Grande department store.

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. 
RIO GRANDE – Middle Township police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is wanted in connection with an Aug. 25 robbery of a Rio Grande department store about 8:45 p.m.
According to a Sept. 3 release, the lone male suspect took cash from a register and threatened the cashier that refusal would result in being shot. The cashier did not see a gun. The suspect fled on foot.
He wore a plaid shirt, dark pants and black-and-white sneakers and wore a hat.
