COURT HOUSE – Derrell Wilson, 24, of Woodbine was indicted by a Cape May County grand jury April 14 on five separate charges, all of which involve Shanika Fitzpatrick. Court documents reveal that Wilson threatened bodily injury to Fitzpatrick in the borough of Woodbine Oct. 3, 2014 when he showed “extreme indifference to the value of human life.” Wilson “terrorized,” and “threatened to kill” Fitzpatrick, “knowingly restraining (her) unlawfully” and “attempted to induce or otherwise cause (her) to testify/inform falsely and/or withhold testimony/information while employing threat of force.”
Jesse Daisey, 21, a resident of Middle Township was also indicted by a grand jury April 14 on five separate charges. Daisey was caught in possession of less than half an ounce of heroin and had intent to sell May 2, 2014, according to court documents. Daisey was also in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, also with intent to sell. He is also charged with aggravated assault while “knowingly or recklessly causing bodily injury to Patrolman Leonard Larkin of the Middle Township Police Department.” In addition, Daisey was charged with resisting arrest.
Jacque Gwyn, 50, of Pleasantville was indicted by a grand jury April 14 on one count of “use of personal identifying information of another.” According to court documents, Gwyn was arrested Feb. 15 for “obtaining the personal identifying information pertaining to another person and using that information to assume the identity of/or represent himself as another person, without that person’s authorization and with the purpose to fraudulently attempt to obtain a benefit or services.”
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
