Stone Harbor Police Charge Subject with Aggravated Assault

STONE HARBOR — On Mon., July 5, at 3:07 a.m., Stone Harbor Police located a male with a head injury at the intersection of 82nd Street and Third Avenue.
Further investigation revealed that the subject had been pushed down a flight of stairs following a dispute over alcohol. The victim was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center.
Richard O’Neill, 21, of Sewell was placed under arrest and transported to the Stone Harbor Police Department where he was charged with aggravated assault and making property available for the underage consumption of alcoholic beverages.
O’Neill was released on charges. The case is pending review by the Cape May County Prosecutors Office.
