Stone Harbor Police Charge Pittsburgh Woman with Criminal Trespass

STONE HARBOR — On Aug. 24, Laurie Nelson, 41, of Pittsburgh was charged with criminal trepass of a dwelling following an incident stemming from July 30, where police responded to a local residence following a 911 call reporting an unknown female entered the caller’s home and refused to leave.
Nelson reportedly entered the home through a rear door and when confronted by the homeowner and her elderly mother, refused to leave. After being escorted out of the home Nelson reportedly then forced her way back into the home via another door.
Upon police arrival she was removed from the property and charged with creating a disturbance. Nelson was issued an October court date for the criminal trespass complaint. Case is pending review by the Cape May county Prosecutor’s Office.
