Stone Harbor Police Arrest Man in Domestic Violence Case

STONE HARBOR — A borough man was arrested by Stone Harbor Police Thur., April 21 and charged with various counts in relation to an alleged domestic dispute.
According to a release, police were sent at about 1:25 a.m. to a residence after a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report a domestic violence incident in progress.
When officers arrived, the female victim at first refused to allow the officers inside. They reported that she was hysterical.
When officers gained entry, and following an investigation they arrested the victim’s fiancé, Javier Roche.
Roche was charged with simple assault, harassment, false imprisonment, weapons (knives)-related offenses and drug offenses.
He was taken to police headquarters where he was processed, issued warrants and was released after he posted bail.
