ATLANTIC CITY – New Jersey State Police seek the public’s help in apprehending a suspect in an armed robbery at the House of Blues here Tuesday.
Police report that at 12:37 p.m. July 31, a lone black male approached a cashier window at the Showboat’s House of Blues, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The cashier turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The man then fled the casino through the House of Blues Boardwalk exit, running south on the boardwalk.
Surveillance photos captured images of the suspect, police said, which are shown here. New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help to identify this man. He is described as a black male, 6-00, 200 lbs, wearing a light blue collared shirt, black Eagles hat, worn-looking jeans and black shoes or sneakers.
The subject is considered to be armed and dangerous. The public is warned not to approach this man, but to phone police or State Police with the Division of Gaming Enforcement at 609-441-7464.
