CLERMONT – New Jersey State Police (NJSP) are investigating a stabbing Jan. 3 at a home on Ravenwood Drive, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
When troopers arrived at the residence after receiving a 911 hang-up call at 4:11 a.m., they found Fred Boyle, 49, stabbed in the back.
Boyle was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
It was unknown if Boyle lives at the home. There were several other people at the home, according to the report.
An NJSP spokesperson told The Press of Atlantic City they had people in custody, but would not say how many. Suspects are being questioned at State Police Woodbine Station.
The investigation remains active, and information will be provided as it becomes available.
