By Herald Staff

DENNISVILLE — On Oct. 15 at 8:23 a.m., a trooper from Woodbine Station was sent to a report of a suspicious vehicle in Dennis Township.
Trooper Christopher Neuman stopped the vehicle, a 1995 Ford utility truck on Route 47 at milepost 18.3 southbound, for failure to maintain a single lane of travel.
The driver of the truck, Christopher Mauro, 39, of Wilmington, Del. was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs.
He also had several packages of suspected heroin and methadone on his person, and was charged with possession of a controlled-dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In addition, he was also found to have a large unspecified amount of cash in his possession.
Mauro was remanded to county jail in lieu of $50,000 full cash bail set by Judge George Neidig.
Detective Christian Eskridge and Trooper John Inserra also assisted in the investigation.
