Stabbing Victim Recovering

By Deborah McGuire

DENNISVILLE — Jeremy Bass, the subject of a story in the July 6 Herald, is well on his way to recovering from injuries he received when he was stabbed on June 4.
“He’s still in the hospital,” said his father, Tom Bass. “He’s doing much better. They’re taking his last chest tube out today (July 11).”
Bass anticipates his son being discharged from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania one day next week. “Our prayers have been answered,” he said. “I am looking forward to him coming home.”
“I want to thank everyone for their prayers,” said Bass. “They were definitely a positive part of it.”
The Wildwood Police Department has stayed in close contact with Bass while the investigation into the stabbing continues
