COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Sheriff’s Office participated in a statewide sweep for non-support warrants conducted by all sheriffs’ offices over the last few days.
“Twenty individuals were arrested for non-support warrants and 52 active warrants were cleared. Nine subjects were incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Center,” Sheriff Gary Schaffer stated in a release.
These arrested individuals were taken before probation and the courts where $10,107.72 was collected in non-support payments.

Lawrence Anderson, 42, Villas
David Peaschek, 49, Ocean View
Clifton Bryant, 41, Villas
Jacob Wyman, 27, Marmora
Robert Price, 59, Woodbine
Charleen Bell, 31, Rio Grande
Dominic Catarcio, 49, Court House
Jennifer Pisarcik, 40, Wildwood
Michael Hatcher, 56, Court House
Thomas Furey, 32, Court House
Randy Duley, 32, Court House
Sept. 21, 2016:
Lawrence Green, 48, Buena Vista
Jesse Arzio, 42, Marmora
Thomas Champion, 51, Sea Isle City
Matthew Thomas, 24, Court House
Sept. 22, 2016:
Donald Titus, 38, Court House
David Lambert, 37, North Cape May
Bruce Coughlin, 35, Court House
The following above arrested persons were also charged with additional warrants:
Lomonaco; $500 warrant from City of Cape May
Bryant; $1,250 warrant from Lower Township and three warrants totaling $5,000 from Wildwood
Catarcio; a no bail warrant from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
Arzio; a $2,640 warrant from Monroe Township and eight warrants from Trenton totaling $10,716
Lambert; a $200 warrant from North Wildwood
Additional criminal charges were filed against Catarcio for hindering apprehension, Bell for obstruction of justice and Chatelain for hindering apprehension and obstruction of justice.
“I want to commend the officers from the Law Enforcement Division and the Correction Division for outstanding job performances. These arrests were done most professionally and with the safety of all concerned,” stated Schaffer.

It should be noted that the above individuals are only charged with the above mentioned offenses and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
