Search Warrant Leads to Two Arrests, Seizure of 50 Bags of Heroin

WILDWOOD CREST – Two local residents were arrested during the execution of a search warrant in Wildwood Crest, Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and the Borough of Wildwood Crest Public Safety Director, Eugene Taylor announced Oct. 14.
The arrests are a result of a cooperative effort by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force and the Wildwood Crest Police Department. The investigation concluded Oct. 10, with a court authorized search warrant executed by the Cape May County Regional S.W.A.T Team in the 100 East block of Morning Glory Road in Wildwood Crest.
As a result of the investigation, 50 bags of heroin were seized from the residence.
As a result of the investigation, Lori Nocentino, 35, and Anthony Seda, 37, of Wildwood Crest, were charged with the following:
Possession of heroin, a third degree crime.
Possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, a third degree crime.
Endangering the welfare of a child, a second degree crime.
Nocentino was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $25,000 full cash bail and Seda was released on a summons complaint.
Prosecutor Taylor advises that persons convicted of a second degree crime are subject to a term of imprisonment of 5 to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison; persons convicted of a third degree crime are subject to a term of imprisonment of 3 to 5 years in New Jersey State Prison. Prosecutor Taylor continues to urge the citizens of Cape May County to report any information regarding illegal drug activity and or any criminal activity within community and that this information can be reported anonymously through the Cape May County Sheriffs Tip Line at cmcsheriff.net and click on anonymous tip, or through the Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 609-465-2800 or 877-465-2801, Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office at 609- 465-1168 and Wildwood Crest Police Department at 609-522-2456.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
