WILDWOOD — There is an ongoing investigation of an aggravated assault that took place in the evening of April 27 that left a victim recovering with multiple stab wounds.
In a joint release issued by Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor and Wildwood Police Chief Steven Long, they reported at about 7 p.m., Wildwood police patrol officers were dispatched to the 100-west block of Schellenger Avenue for a report of an assault.
When officers arrived, they found Frank Sola, 28, with numerous stab wounds. He was transported to At-laniCare Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Members of the County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Crime Scene Unit and Wildwood Police detec-tives continue to investigate the incident.
