COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 15 year old female, Shakira Colon, who ran away from the Oasis Youth Shelter on July 11, 2011 at about 9pm. She moved into the Wildwood area from Puerto Rico within the past two months. She does not speak English, and may not be too familiar with the area. Prior to going to the shelter she lived with her mother in Wildwood. She may be in emotional or psychological distress.
She is 5’4″ tall, has red hair and brown eyes. She has a pierced lower lip. She was last seen wearing a red-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray-colored tank top, gray-colored leggings, and gray/white “DC” style sneakers. She reportedly has a boyfriend named “Rogoberto.”
At this time she is reported to be a runaway.
