Rio Man Charged After Cops Allegedly See Deal

RIO GRANDE – Members of the Middle Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit allegedly observed Terrance “TT” McNeal, 37, of Rio Grande, engage in a suspected CDS (controlled dangerous substance) transaction with an unknown white male in a fast food restaurant parking lot, located in the 1400 block Route 47 in Rio Grande Oct. 20. 
As a result, McNeal was arrested. The white male fled the scene while officers attempted to arrest McNeal who was not cooperating.
McNeal was found to be in possession of two oxycodone pills and $1,169. The white male was observed discarding heroin while running away from the scene. One-hundred bags of heroin were recovered from the parking lot.  
As a result, a search warrant was obtained for McNeal’s residence, located in the 1000 block Route 47, Rio Grande. A loaded Ruger .357 magnum handgun was recovered along with one-quarter ounce of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  
McNeal was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center on the following charges: possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a handgun, certain person in possession of handgun, and possession of handgun during CDS violation.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
