Police Seek Swainton Burglar

SWAINTON – Middle Township Police Department responded to the first block Bay Acres Drive in Swainton Jan. 21 at approximately 5 a.m. for a burglary of a residence and two vehicles. 
According to a release, the homeowner, whose name is being withheld from this report, reported that he woke up to his daughter screaming there was someone in her room, and he left out the front door. The homeowner stated he jumped out of bed, and immediately ran downstairs, and went out the front door, but he did not see anyone.
The homeowner stated while he was outside, he noticed that his garage door was open and the interior light of his vehicle was on. Two vehicles had items taken from them.
 
The homeowner’s daughter only saw the back of the subject, and described the subject as possibly being a light-skinned or Hispanic male, approximately 6’0″ tall, medium build, and wearing a black sweatshirt with a buzzed haircut.
