Police Seek Subject for Domestic Disturbance

VILLAS – Members of the Lower Township Police Department were dispatched to the 400 Block of East Drumbed Road in the Villas section of Lower Township for a report of a domestic disturbance with an assault Saturday, May 16 at approximately 1:33 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Sean M. Burke, 26, whom she has an active restraining order against, entered her residence through her bedroom window, attacked her and made threats to her life.
After assaulting the victim, Burke left the area on foot. Warrants charging Burke with violation of a temporary restraining order, burglary, terroristic threats and simple assault were prepared and granted by Judge Thomas Hillegass. Investigating the incident were Patrolman Lafferty, Detective Perry and Sgt. Chew of the Lower Township Police Department.

The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
