Police Seek Stolen Jeep Used in Armed Robberies

RIO GRANDE — Police throughout Cape May County were alerted on July 10 at 9:40 a.m. to be on the lookout for a stolen 1991 white Jeep Cherokee out of Hamilton Township that was used in two armed robberies in Upper and Hamilton townships overnight.
The New Jersey license plate, a vanity tag: Policeman’s Benevolent Association PB 2693.
The vehicle is registered to a retired police officer and had inside the officer’s badge and identification, according to scanner reports.
