GREEN CREEK — There is major police investigation in the vicinity 300 block Route 47 South about noon on Wed., March 28.
According County Prosecutor Robert Taylor, “On Jan. 6, 2011, Samuel Schmucker was reported as a missing person to the Middle Township Police Department. To date, Mr. Schmucker has not been located. Since his disappearance the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and Middle Township Police Department have conducted an extensive investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
“Today, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Middle Township police, N.J. State Police are conducting a search in the 300 block of Route 47 South in Green Creek for evidence relating to Mr. Schmucker’s disappearance. Additional information was developed during the investigation and that is why we are searching the property.”
