CAPE MAY – John J. Rutter, 52, of Mercersburg, Pa., was arrested May 7 shortly after midnight on charges related to theft and receiving stolen property.
While on patrol May 7, Patrolman Scott Krissinger noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and failing to stop at a stop sign. Shortly thereafter, Krissinger stopped the vehicle, a 2005 Porsche, which was being operated by Rutter.
