Police Nab Three in Drug Bust

RIO GRANDE — On March 15, at approximately 9 p.m., members of the Middle Township Police Department, Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team executed a court-authorized search warrant on a mobile home located in the 100 block of South 5th Street, commonly known as the Rio Grande Mobile Park.
As a result of the investigation, 90 tablets of suspected 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, also known as MDMA or Ecstasy, was seized. The street value of the seized tablets is $2200. Police also seized heroin, marijuana and $650.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance over one-half ounce with the intent to distribute.
Zachary Lloyd, 23, from Egg Harbor was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
Michael Pruitt, 25, from Wildwood, was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
Quinetta Blyther, 23, from Brooklyn, NY was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
