BURLEIGH — On May 5, Middle Township Major Crimes Unit concluded a five-month investigation with the arrest of Corey Young, 19, of Woodbine.
Police responded to a call of a burglary and theft at the Wildwood Park Motel where a victim reported someone had entered her residence while she was out and stole her prescription medication.
Due to the investigation, a message was put out to all county police departments requesting assistance in locating Young, who was subsequently arrested by Wildwood Crest Police and turned over to Middle Township Police.
Young was lodged in county jail in lieu of 10 percent of $25,000 bail after being charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree theft of a controlled dangerous substance.
The investigation was conducted by Patrolman Matt Martino and Detective Bob Shepherd.
