Police Nab 7-11 Robbery Suspect

WEST CAPE MAY — At 8:06 p.m. on Dec. 6, Cape May police were dispatched to the 7-11 store on Broadway here for a reported fight.
Police arrested Charles L. Hearon, 31, of Lower Township, for robbery following an investigation by Patrolman Coil that revealed Hearon assaulted the store manager after being questioned about possessing concealed merchandise for which the store bad not been paid.
Hearon was placed in the county jail after he was unable to post $15,000 bail set by Municipal Court Judge David DeWeese.
