RIO GRANDE– On October 18, 2010 Middle Township Police were called to the 1000 block of Route 47 for a report of a home invasion. At the time the homeowner was home along with her three children. Two masked men forced their way in through the back door. The mother was held in the living room, while the house was ransacked. An undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry, and electronics were stolen. The children were left undisturbed in their room.
The suspects had masks on. They are described as a white and black male.
The Cape May County Prosecutors crime scene unit assisted in the investigation.
