Police Investigate Two Weekend Stabbings in Wildwood

WILDWOOD— On Saturday May 23, around 11:44 p.m. police were called to the area of the Ocean Sands Motel in the 300 Block of East Lincoln Ave for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival officers located a victim, Michael Williams, 20 of Roselle, NJ bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
Investigation revealed that a large fight occurred between the victim and 6 unidentified Hispanic Males. During the altercation the victim was beat with fists and bottles.
Williams was transported to the Cape May Armory by the Wildwood Fire Department and Atlanticare Paramedics where he was airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit in Atlantic City by South Star medevac.
Williams suffered a punctured lung and several deep lacerations, according to police.

On May 25, at 12:37 a.m. police responded to the 3700 block of pacific Ave for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival officers located a victim, Idan Daban, 22 of Fairlawn, NJ.
Daban was stabbed multiple times in the head and neck, according to police.
Daban reported to police a hand gun was discharged in the attack however he was not injured as a result of the firearm discharge, according to police.
Investigation revealed the stabbing occurred at 136 West Baker Ave, where police found a large amount of blood and a spent 40 caliber casing.
Police are looking for four to five black males that are responsible for the attack.
