Police Investigate Stabbing of Teen Girl at Homecoming

COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Police investigated an assault Oct. 7 that took place on Pacific Avenue during the Homecoming football game.  
The investigation revealed that two female juveniles, a 14 year old from Woodbine and a 13 year old from Wildwood, were involved in a physical confrontation near a gas station on the 400 block South Main Street in Court House.
During the fight, the 13 year old produced a knife and caused injuries to the 14 year old. The victim was discovered after the assault in the bathrooms located at Memorial Field. Officers on scene immediately intervened and began investigating the incident. 
The victim was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment and the suspect was located shortly after the incident at her residence in Wildwood.
This case is still under investigation by the Middle Township Major Crimes Unit.
