Police Investigate Noise Complaint, Charge 27 with Underage Possession of Alcohol

STONE HARBOR – Stone Harbor Police were dispatched to 9700 Third Avenue for a noise complaint where underage consumption of alcoholic beverages was taking place July 26 at approximately 11:32 p.m.
Upon the arrival of the police, it was discovered that a large party was taking place on the second floor shared deck and hallway of the apartments at 9700 Third Avenue. As the police approached the party, officers observed a large number of persons under the age of twenty one in possession of alcoholic beverages. The subjects began to discard their alcoholic beverages onto the ground and attempted to leave the area by exiting the rear of the apartments. Two of the subjects, identified as Maxwell Arizin and Joseph Raymond fled the scene and were apprehended a short distance away. Arizin was apprehended as he fled on the 200 Block of 97th Street and Raymond was arrested as he attempted to board a Jitney on the 200 Block of 96th Street. While being placed under arrest, Raymond resisted arrest and attempted to pull away from the arresting officers. Arizin and Raymond were transported to the Stone Harbor Police Department where they were processed, issued charges, and released.
Officers identified nineteen juveniles in possession of alcoholic beverages at 9700 Third Avenue. The juveniles were taken into protective custody and transported to the Stone Harbor Police Department where their parents were notified. The juveniles were released to their respective parents or guardians. The juvenile matters are pending review by the Stone Harbor Police Department Juvenile Division.
The remaining adults at 9700 Third Avenue were processed on scene, issued charges, and released. The adults were issued a court date to appear in Stone Harbor Municipal Court in reference to these charges.
This case is pending review by the Stone Harbor Police Department Juvenile Division.

Samuel Gilbert, 18, Thornton, PA
Christina Louis, 18, Downingtown, PA
Juvenile, 17, New York, NY
Juvenile, 17, West Chester, PA
Juvenile, 17, Exton, PA
Juvenile, 17, Malvern, PA
Juvenile, 17, Chester Springs, PA
Juvenile, 17, Newtown Square, PA
Juvenile, 17, Ardmore, PA
Juvenile, 17, Allentown, PA
Juvenile, 17, King of Prussia, PA
Juvenile, 17, West Chester, PA
Juvenile, 17, West Chester, PA

The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
