Police ID, Arrest Suspect for June 1 Attempted Sex Assault

NORTH WILDWOOD — On Thur., June 24, North Wildwood police announced the arrest of Robert James Blair, 47 of Philadelphia, in connection to an attempted sexual assault that took place on June 1 in the area of 20th and New Jersey avenues.
According to a release, North Wildwood detectives obtained video surveillance that was aired through the television news media. Police received information from callers who watched the news footage. This information and further investigation by the North Wildwood Detective Bureau led to the arrest of Blair, who was charged with attempted sexual assault, aggravated assault, criminal restraint, and terroristic threats.
Blair was processed at the North Wildwood Police Department with bail set at $25,000.
