Police Charge Two with Heroin, Prescription Drug Distribution

RIO GRANDE – Middle Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit executed a drug search warrant in a room at a motel on the 3100 block Route 9 south April 19. As a result of the warrant Ashley Camburn, 21, and Donte Alston-Harris, both of Rio Grande, were arrested. They were charged with numerous offenses related to the possession and distribution of heroin and prescription drugs.
Forty-two bags of heroin, xanax, oxycodone, and a small amount of marijuana were recovered. They were both lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $80,000 cash bail.
