STONE HARBOR – Stone Harbor Police were dispatched to the 123rd Street parking lot for a report of a suspicious group of males July 25 at approximately 10:11 p.m.
Officers did not locate anyone in the 123rd Street parking lot but observed a group of subjects on the observation deck along the Stone Harbor Point access road.
Officers approached the group and discovered that the subjects were consuming alcoholic beverages and were under the age of twenty one. It was further learned that eight out of the nine subjects were juveniles. The juveniles were taken into protective custody and transported to the Stone Harbor Police Department where their parents were notified. The juveniles were released to their respective parents or guardians. The juvenile matters are pending review by the Stone Harbor Police Department Juvenile Division.
Daniel Hill, 18, of Devon, PA was processed on scene, was charged with underage possession of alcoholic beverages and was released. Hill was issued a court date to appear in Stone Harbor Municipal Court in reference to these charges.
This case is pending review by the Stone Harbor Police Department Juvenile Division.
