Police Charge Crest Teen with Car Burglaries

WILDWOOD CREST — On Tue., Aug. 17 at 4:45 a.m., Wildwood Crest police were notified by a citizen that a female was entering parked vehicles.
Cpl. Luke Donahue and Officer Ryan Sheets responded to the 200 block of E. Topeka Avenue. After a patrol of the area, the officers observed the female entering vehicles and removing various items.
Police arrested Megan Galbraith, 18, of Wildwood Crest. She was charged with burglary and theft of at least 10 unlocked, parked vehicles.
Galbraith was also found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and was under the influence of alcohol under 21.
Judge Louis Belasco Jr. set bail at 10 percent of $10,000.
