VILLAS – A burglary, theft and criminal mischief was reported to Lower Township Police Department in the afternoon of March 30 on the 100 block West Pacific Avenue, Villas.
The subsequent investigation resulted in two local juveniles being charged with various criminal offenses, according to police.
Third-degree burglary, third-degree theft of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose charges were lodged against both individuals.
The weapon, a shotgun, that was allegedly stolen from the home was recovered along with other personal property. The case is pending before Superior Court. Additional charges are pending.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
