CAPE MAY – Craig Gaskins, 48, of North Wildwood, was arrested Feb. 1 when he was observed driving a vehicle matching the description of one seen involved in the theft of a commercial air conditioner.
The investigation was led by Patrolman Derrik Murphy along with Sergeant Dekon Fashaw and Patrolman Kenneth Cooper. Also assisting in the investigation is Detective Douglas Henderson.
The investigation revealed that Gaskins cut utility lines and removed the unit.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
