WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Police were called to a residence on Primrose Rd. on a reported burglary Oct. 25.
Officers spoke with a couple who identified Jason Tomlin as the person who entered their residence through a window. The couple told officers that they knew Tomlin. Tomlin was found by the man, attempting to strike the woman, and fled from the residence.
After a description of Tomlin was given to the officers, he was found a short distance from the residence and arrested without incident. He was charged with burglary and harassment and lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $10,000.
No one was injured during the incident.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
