VILLAS – Lower Township Police Patrol Division received a report of marijuana plants growing in the backyard of a residence on East Hudson Ave. in the Villas section of Lower Township Sept. 14.
Patrol and Detectives responded to the area of East Hudson Ave., where 40 suspected marijuana plants were located and seized.
The resident was later identified as Robert Franco. Franco was subsequently charged with manufacturing, distribution of marijuana plants, a second degree crime.
A warrant was authorized by Judge Thomas Hillegass.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
