Police Arrest Conn. Man for Domestic Viloence Strangulation

DIAMOND BEACH — On Aug. 31 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Lower Township police received a report from Pier 6600 here that a subject had been strangled during an act of domestic violence.
Police spoke with a chambermaid who was approached by a young juvenile who reported that his parents were fighting and his father was hitting his mother.
The female victim when observed by officers had clear signs of injury about her neck and right arm area. Officers observed red marks on her neck, which corroborated her story of being strangled.
Detectives responded to interview and take a formal statement from the victim and photograph her injuries.
The actor was identified as Junior Morales, 26, of Bunker Hill Avenue in Waterbury, Conn. Morales was charged with aggravated assault and remanded to county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with the victim.
