Police Alerted to Attempted Child Abduction

CAPE MAY — County police departments were alerted on Friday, July 31 about noon, to an attempted child abduction out of Cape May.
According to police radio reports, the subject sought is a white male, between 30-40 years of age, with a stocky build.
He was driving a bright yellow pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet Avalanche, with a extended cab., short bed and black bars connecting the bed area.
No further informtion was available.
