Police Accuse Man of Theft, DWI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP POLICE RELEASE:
RIO GRANDE — On July 19, 2009 Middle Twp. Police Department received a call that someone was stealing garden material from Lowes in Rio Grande.
Ptl. Jones responded and later found the vehicle that was described by the caller.
During his theft investigation, he found that the driver Chad Aafjes was intoxicated. A pipe with burnt marijuana residue was also found on Aafjes.
Aafjes was arrested for the theft from Lowes, DWI and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and tested. The accused gave a BAC of .16%.
He was charged with Theft from Lowes, DWI, Reckless Driving and Possession of CDS paraphernalia.
He was released to his girlfriend.
