COURT HOUSE – Two people were found deceased at a residence on West Atlantic Avenue July 21 in what appears to be a murder and suicide, police say.
Officers from the Middle Township Police Department discovered the two individuals during a wellness check on the residence.
The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and Middle Township police are currently investigating.
In a statement, the Prosecutor’s Office suggested this was not a random act of violence.
The Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has conducted the autopsies. Authorities promised more information as it becomes available.
