WEST CAPE MAY – Jessica R. Lane, 27, of Belleville, N.J., is being sought by the Cape May Police Department on a warrant for obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud.
Detective Victor DeMusz investigated this incident with the assistance of the New Jersey Regional Operations and Intelligence Center (NJROIC). This incident took place at the CVS in West Cape May Nov. 28. Still images of the suspect were obtained from CVS video surveillance. Working together with the NJROIC, Lane was developed as a suspect. Further investigation by Detective DeMusz into Lane led to an arrest warrant being generated.
Lane is charged with third degree obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud. Bail will be set once Lane is arrested.
