Pennsylvania Man Charged in SIC Sexual Assault

SEA ISLE CITY – A Pennsylvania man was arrested and charged in connection with a sexual assault at 33rd Street and the beach in the early morning hours of July 24, police said.
Francis H. Grady, 19, of Springfield, Pennsylvania, is being charged with first-degree aggravated sex assault during a commission of an aggravated assault, second-degree aggravated assault by strangulation, and second-degree aggravated assault, according to a Sea Isle City police release.
Grady is being held in the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
Detectives from Sea Isle City Police Department worked with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office on the investigation.
Any charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
