STONE HARBOR — Two Collegeville, Pa. teens were arrested in connection with a Sept. 30 stolen vehicle report.
According to a Nov. 27 Stone Harbor Police Department release, Gunnar J. Derry, 19, and a 17-year-old male were arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
Police received a report from the 200 block 86th Street that a 2006 BMW sport utility vehicle was taken during Sept. 29-30.
The vehicle was recovered, unoccupied by park rangers in Evansburg State Park, Pennsylvania on Oct. 1.
As the result of a joint investigation that involved borough police, Pennsylvania State Park Rangers, Collegeville Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police, Stone Harbor police brought the charges against Derry and the juvenile accomplice.
In addition to the motor vehicle theft count, they also face charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft.
Derry’s initial court hearing is Dec. 6.
