COURT HOUSE– John J. Lawless, 37, of Philadelphia plead not guilty on Friday, March 12, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
Lawless who has seven prior DUI arrest stands accused of driving while intoxicated in the Sept. 12, 2009, crash that killed Frederick Shelton, of Lower Township.
During a 1-minute court appearance Friday afternoon, Lawless did not speak. He pleaded not guilty through his lawyer, the report said.
