PA Fugitive Nabbed in North Wildwood

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Police arrested a fugitive from justice from Pennsylvania July 2.
Officers Joseph Kopetsky and Severino Butera-Addesso stopped a vehicle on the 200 block West Spruce Avenue at approximately 8:52 p.m. for a minor traffic violation. 
Further investigation revealed the passenger in the vehicle, Alexander Torres, 41, from Philadelphia, was wanted on a full extradition warrant out of Philadelphia for assault. The driver, Felicita Rosa, 48, also from Philadelphia, was wanted on an active warrant out of Somerdale Municipal Court.  
Torres was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center where he is awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania. Rosa posted bail on her warrant and was released. 
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
