WHITESBORO – Members of Middle Township Police Patrol Division responded to Cape Regional Medical Center for a report of an individual with a gunshot wound April 1 at 4:07 p.m.
It was discovered the victim, a 23-year-old male from the Whitesboro section of Middle Township, was shot one time and his injuries were non-life threatening.
It is believed the shooting occurred just off Route 9 in Whitesboro.
Middle Township Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit along with members of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office are currently investigating.
