Upon arrival of officers at the scene, they were met by the owner of the residence, a 72-year-old man, who stated that he was sitting in an adjacent porch connected to his home, watching television. At approximately 10:10 p.m., he heard a loud bang come from the rear glass window of the porch. Upon checking the residence, he observed a small hole that appeared to have been caused by a bullet.
