Ocean View Man Charged with Aggravated Assault in Sea Isle City Incident

SEA ISLE CITY — Police here Aug. 5 arrested and charged an Ocean View man with aggravated assault in connection with an incident that occurred on July 30 at approximately 2:44 a.m.
According to police, Richard P. White, 23, punched Nathaniel Harris in the head in an alleged dispute over a female after leaving Shenanigan’s Bar. After being struck by White, Harris hit the ground causing various injuries to his face and head including a subdural hematoma, police said.
White was transported to county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail set by Municipal Judge Kenneth Calloway, of which 10 percent could be posted.
Detective Sergeant Kirk Rohrer and Detective William Mammele investigated the case.
